ESCAPE!!!
Raymond, Bob, Lanrie, Jenny, Jeffrey,
Tarqa, and Phils went to explore a land on the western axis of their Nation, to
them, the area was a prosperous zone, it was an area where the economic growth
is vast and encouraging, civilization was high there, and with the presence of
several social amenities, the attention of young men and women were drawn to
the land, this in turn, brought about time to time increase in the population
of the land.
Such was the team of these seven young
men and women, the team comprised of five male and two female, they were having
the same thought and they were nearly of the same age range, Raymond was the
oldest and the captain of the clique, they came to the land to make money
through the use of their potentials, to set up establishments since the place
had become a centre of commerce, but upon all the fact they had gathered
concerning the land, upon the vast knowledge that they have about the land, it
was unknown to the clique of the young promising men and women that the zone was
a dangerous zone, a zone which had earlier been declared a danger zone to the
dwellers of the land.
Soon after the group of young men got to
the land, they started establishing their business, building their business
empire and expanding it throughout the coast of the land, they became so rich
and were soon declared to be among the strongest and the wealthiest men and
women of the land. They all got married to the sons and daughters of the land
and began to give birth; they increased from seven to twenty nine as time goes
on.
Exactly ten years after they came to
settle in the land, they received the news informing them of what they have
never learnt about the land, the land been a danger zone and the doom awaiting
the land, it was indeed a sad news to them, but only a few of them believed the
tale. This news did not stop their activities though; they were increasing
their structures, as well as enlarging the coast of their business empire.
One day, the impending danger loomed a
portion of the wealthy land, several lives were lose, a lot of costly
properties, as well as other precious things were missed as a result of a great
earth quake which struck a little portion of the land, Alas! the impending
danger had started looming gradually; death, loss, and several damage struck
the land. Upon this, several investors were now diverting their great wealth
from the territory to a more safe area, several companies were sold, assets
were disposed and a large population migrated from the great commerce centre.
To the clique, it had now become so
clear that the long time fable is not a fantasy but a fact, but only a few of
them were moved by the incident, only one family out of the seven received
their share and migrated from the land to a more safe area which was not a
danger zone, but to the rest of the clique, they saw the incident as an
opportunity to increase their firm, several assets were added to their assets,
they invested in more by buying from those who migrated and sold their
companies as a result of the migration, to the clique, the ugly incidence was
an opportunity to attain more wealth.
As soon as Jeffery left the zone
together with his family of three, another calamity struck the land, this time
around, it was far than the previous quake, half of the land were casualty of
the calamity, millions of the wealthy men and women in the land lost their
lives to the incident and several investments worth of billions collapsed, this
time unlike before, one of the family of the clique were among the casualties of
the mysterious incident, Bob and his family of four lost their lives. Upon
this, it became more clearer to the clique family that they were not in a placate
zone, yet because of the great investment they had in the land, many of them
did not even nurse the ambition of vacating the land, only a few number of them
left, the families of Lanrie and her husband together with their two year old
boy left the land as soon as the calamity struck, Phils and his wife as well as
two children were not left out too, they took their own share of the joint
business and vacated the land. But the rest of the family did not change their
heart, they did not only love to stay more in the land, but their fast growing
enterprise and the firm business empire, their properties as well as the beauty
of the land caught their attention.
So time flew to become days, and days
became weeks, weeks in turn metamorphosed into months, and several months
passed, living the land in peace as if to give time for the bereaved of the
previous quake to be mourned and those who ran into several loss to regain
their loss, until one day when the long proclaimed prophesy about the land came
to pass, on the bright morning of a woeful Wednesday, the third day of the week,
in the seventh month of that particular year, calamity again struck the land,
but this time, it took an unusual form, the whole portion of land sank as a result
of an incredible earthquake, properties were lose, lives perished, and the
entire population of the land became history, they ended up in the mystifying
mishap, not only this, not a single empire was spared and the long preserved
assets were out of sight, no man was left, to mourn another, as everything were
out of sight.
Indeed! Just like the seven clique, we
are all in a danger zone, though there are lots of empires as well as assets,
but the world is awaiting a looming danger, the world is not a comfort zone,
only those who can escape for their precious souls will not be part of the
danger, destruction awaits the world of man, only those who will act like
Jeffrey, Lanrie, and Phils will escape the looming danger. Are you ready to
take step and escape from the looming danger? Or you want to stay long here and
act foolishly like those four members of the clique who perished in the land.
The only escape route is Jesus, the only begotten son of God, to pass through
him, confess your sins, repent of your sinful ways, invite Jesus into your
life, let him take control of your life, let him be your Lord and Saviour and
start living a new life in Christ. Don’t wait till tomorrow, it may be too
late, it is only when you are alive that you can make your ways right, Jesus
cannot save a sinner who is in hell, but he can save a sinner while he is still
on earth, He can save you. May you not perish in Jesus name (Amen).
